While many retailers are getting deals ready left and right, ahead of Black Friday, one company was expected to ignore the date entirely: Apple. Last year the company eschewed the special shopping day completely, but this time around it looks like the iPhone-marker will be joining in the commercial festivities.
Apple has been anxiously trying to prop up its falling sales numbers, and the launch of the iPhone 7 models have given the company a good opportunity to push inventory. Now, with Black Friday and the start of the holiday shopping season just around the corner the company is trying to further entice potential customers.
The company just put up a special teaser page, announcing a “one day shopping event”, on Black Friday. Showing an Apple watch together with the 25th of November date, the page is teasing numerous deals coming later this week.
Apple is also reminding customers that it’s offering free two-day delivery for in-stock items ordered by 5:00 p.m. and that there’s an app available for those looking to do their Black Friday shopping on the go.
Unfortunately, that’s the extent that Apple’s willing to share info for now, with the actual upcoming deals and discounts currently remaining a mystery.
