It was only last month that Apple debuted its new Watch Series 3 with cellular connectivity. Now, it appears that some models of the device are having issues, requiring a fix or replacement. Fortunately, Apple is already aware of the problem and has protocols in place to ensure a smooth experience for its customers.
According to MacRumors, Apple has distributed an internal memo to Genius Bar and Authorized Service Providers to make them aware of an issue that is occurring with the display of the latest Apple Watch. This doesn't apply to all models and is instead specific to the GPS variant.
As you can see from the image above, the issue produces a striped effect that can run along the outer edge of the screen. If this issue is present in your Watch Series 3, don't hesitate to take it to your local Apple Store to have them take a look. They will go through some steps to validate the problem and once verified, should be able to take care of it under the one-year manufacturer warranty.
