I don't know if this is new, but it seems that everyone can join up with the EUROPEAN public beta for Asheron's Call 2 now!!
This is the public beta setup for Asheron's Call 2 European release. You will need an AC2 account to play. If you do not already have an account, you will be prompted to create one when you launch the game for the first time.
Important!
To play Asheron's Call 2.0 you must specify that your client use the same language as that used by AC2 Setup when it installed the game.
To select the language:
- Launch the AC2Config.exe tool (the tool will launch automatically as you try to enter the game or you can launch it from the Start menu).
- In the tool, select the language in which the AC 2 client will play. You must ensure that the language you choose is the same as that used by Setup to install the game. For instance, if you used the German Setup, you need to select German in the drop down menu of the AC2Config tool, even if it defaults to another language. If you tried to select French or English, you will receive an error stating that the language resource could not be found and the client will quit.
