Ubisoft will soon announce Assassin's Creed Odyssey, the next entry in the Assassin's Creed franchise at E3 this year. While there has been no official word on what the game will contain, the firm may have inadvertently revealed details of the game sooner than planned. Earlier today game's description was visible via the PlayStation Store where a few eagle-eyed gamers (no pun intended) managed to grab a few snapshots of it before it was pulled.
The description reads:
Take control of your destiny and write your own epic odyssey as you journey to become a legendary Spartan hero. Live incredible adventures in a world where every choice matters. Rejected by your family, you must embark on an adventure from outcast mercenary to legendary Spartan hero to uncover the truth about your past.
From the description, the game appears to be structured differently from the other entries in the series. Gamers will apparently be able to make weighty choices which affect how their experience in the game progresses.
Although ultimately, it appears you'll still be charting the course of an adventure from an "Outcast mercenary" to a "Spartan hero", so it remains to be seen whether the choice aspect of the game will be consequential, or merely icing on the cake.
