We have seen our fair share of live action trailers and even full short films made to promote games over the past few years. Today, in their own way of honoring the US Independence Day holiday, Ubisoft has released their newest live action trailer, "Rise", for the upcoming and highly anticipated action game Assassin's Creed III.
The video, as posted on YouTube, shows several short scenes of 18th century US colonists of every age and sex looking silently at the camera while their inner voice speaks for them. At every turn, the colonists show their determination to fight against the British redcoats for their freedom, no matter what the cost. Ubisoft had already released a Independence Day themed trailer earlier this week, this time showing in-game engine footage.
The PC version of Assassin's Creed III is currently scheduled to be released later this fall. A Digital Deluxe version of the game is now available for pre-order. It adds three new single player missions, along with two multiplayer characters, two extra single player uniforms, a soundtrack featuring tunes from past games in the series, and the still mysterious "George Washington’s notebook"
