E3 week replacement digital events are scattered throughout June, and according to several new reports, the upcoming PC Gaming Show will have a surprise for JRPG fans in the form of a Persona 4 Golden PC port.
In addition to a SteamDB listing that was discovered holding the game's thumbnail and banner, multiple insiders with good track records for leaks, such as Wario64 and Daniel Ahmad, chimed in to reveal that an announcement, or even an outright release, is imminent. A Denuvo support page for Persona 4 Golden was discovered as well, and finally, a Gematsu report added that multiple sources had also confirmed to it that a PC port is incoming.
Originally released for the PlayStation 2 and followed up by an enhanced Golden edition for the PlayStation Vita, the Atlus-developed classic role-playing and high-school sim title was received very well by critics and fans. The story revolves around a high school student investigating mysterious murders happening in the countryside.
This year's PC Gaming Show is slated to kick off on June 13, and Atlus has already confirmed an appearance on the digital event with "some exciting news to share". Though the reports and leaks certainly make a Persona 4 Golden for PC announcement a likely one, keep in mind the developer hasn't confirmed anything just yet.
