Wireless carriers have become fairly competitive over the past couple of years and the prepaid segment is no exception. AT&T has used the GoPhone moniker for its prepaid product for a couple decades but has today announced that it will change the service's name to AT&T PREPAID.
Although the name will change the service will still remain the same, offering the reliability of AT&T's network and providing customers with an option to obtain a cellular service without signing up for a contract - which has fast become an outdated part of the business model for wireless carriers.
In celebration of the rebranding, the firm has kicked off a special promotion that will give loyal users two months of service for free. In order to get the free two months, a new service will have to be activated from July 14 on an eligible plan with a credit being issued on the third and twelfth months.
The plans that are eligible for the new promotion are listed below:
- $60/month ($65 before AutoPay)– Unlimited talk, text and data
- $40/month ($45 before AutoPay)– Unlimited talk and text with 6GB of high-speed data
AT&T PREPAID does not require an annual contract or credit check and will not have any activation fees. Be sure to hit the link below for full details. As mentioned before, the new promotion will start on July 14.
