Microsoft and AT&T have once again dropped the price of the Lumia 640 XL, this time bringing it to a cool $99.99. The price cut is the first since July, when it began selling for $149, a $100 discount from its launch price of $249.
You can grab the deal from either AT&T or the Microsoft Store; however, purchasing it from AT&T will require a service agreement; you can pay the full retail price or $3.34 per month on a 30-month payment plan. While the Microsoft Store will let you buy the phone without service, it only has the white model in stock.
If you're on the other side of the pond, Microsoft has been slashing prices over there as well. In August, the company marked down the 640 XL by 20%, and more recently, the Lumia 640 got cut down to £99. If you're in the mood for something that's a little fancier, you can grab the Lumia 950 XL for £299.99, as of today,
The 640 XL was the last Lumia budget 'phablet', featuring a 5.7-inch HD LCD. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400, and has a 13MP rear camera with a 1/3" sensor and f/2 aperture.
