This week, Liquid Daffodil finally launched its Fanband app on iOS and Android, along with a major update to its Windows app. Fanband was originally launched only for Windows phones, but the company clearly saw at some point that market share of the platform is dwindling and most Band users are on iOS and Android.
If you're not familiar with the app, it's a must-have for users of Microsoft's Band, allowing them to customize the face of the device. The app promises over 2,000 themes, and if you can't find the one that you want, you can request it (and it usually gets added pretty quickly), or you can now create your own.
Features include the following:
Custom Theme Designer
Full Search for over 2000+ themes
Automatic scheduled Band theme updates
Interactive and adaptive toasts and tiles
Jump lists
Deep link tiles
Other features will be available this weekend:
Adding back in the ability to use Bing Wallpapers into the Designer
Adding back in the ability to use current lock screen into the Designer
Adding back in the ability to create themes from your Xbox Avatar
Custom Theme Social Sharing
If you've been using the Windows Phone 8.1 version of the app, you'll find that today's new builds are quite the improvement. The app is still $1.99, and it's the same price across all platforms. You can grab it from the following links:
