Batman: Arkham VR glides its way to PC as PlayStation VR exclusivity ends

VR users on PC will soon get the chance to experience being the Dark Knight himself, as Batman: Arkham VR's PlayStation exclusivity draws to a close. Originally appearing at Sony's 2016 E3 briefing, the game's PlayStation VR launch happened back in October.

The Rocksteady Studios-developed game lets players comb through crime scenes for evidence while also giving the opportunity to knock some sense into bad guys in true Batman fashion. Some of these feats are showcased in its new PC trailer, seen above. Rocksteady Studios Creative Director Sefton Hill, had this to say about developing the game for VR:

“The Dark Knight has always been an incredible character to work with due to his psychological depth, so it’s really exciting to use this immersive medium to delve deeper into his psyche than ever before”.

The PC version will be playable on HTC Vive and Oculus Rift VR headsets, coming with full compatibility for their respective VR controllers, as well as DualShock 4, Xbox One, and Steam Controller support.

Batman: Arkham VR for PC launches on April 25, but there aren't any details on its pricing just yet.
