Batman: The Enemy Within's first episode, 'The Enigma', is now available

At Comic-Con last month, Telltale Games announced brand new seasons for three of its popular episodic game series: The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and Batman. Less than a month after its reveal, episode one of the new Batman season, The Enemy Within, is now available, continuing Telltale's take on the Caped Crusader.

Batman - The Telltale Series' first season introduced us to plenty of familiar characters from the mythos, from uneasy allies like Catwoman to tragic villains such as Two Face. Neowin's Usama Jawad titled the first season his game of the year for 2016, saying "All in all, I found Batman - The Telltale Series to be an exceptional game with plenty of plot twists that kept me guessing throughout the gripping storyline."

The new season is set to continue the storyline which began last year, with players even being given the opportunity to bring over decisions from their playthrough of the first season. The first episode of the five part series is titled 'The Enigma', and as apparent by its name, presents The Riddler as an opponent for Batman. This incarnation of The Riddler is quite different than the one we see in the Arkham series, so be prepared for his deadly antics.

Of course, what is a Batman story without the Joker, with the clown prince of crime returning to play a much bigger role in the new season.

Batman: The Enemy Within episode one, The Enigma, is now available for purchase on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, with the game heading to iOS and Android devices in early October. Below are store pages and pricing details for the aforementioned platforms:

Steam: Complete Season - $24.99

GOG (DRM free): Complete Season - $24.99

Xbox One: Episode one - $4.99, Complete Season - $24.99

PlayStation 4: Episode one - $4.99, Complete Season - $24.99
