Battlefield 2042, the upcoming multiplayer first-person shooter from publisher EA and developer DICE, is replacing the classic Battlefield class system with Specialists. A few weeks ago, the development team revealed some of the Specialists you can play as. Each of these characters has a unique backstory and abilities. For example, Maria Falck fires a syringe at friendly soldiers to heal them. However, if she fires the same syringe at enemies, she'll do damage.
Today, we got some details about the remaining five Specialists through a rather bombastic gameplay video. Navi Rao, Santiago “Dozer” Espinoza, Emma “Sundance” Rosier, Ji-Soo Paik, and Constantin “Angel” Anghel all come with unique abilities of their own.
Navi Rao is a hacker, Dozer can protect himself against projectiles, Sundance has a wingsuit so she can traverse great distances, Ji-Soo Paik can automatically spot enemies who do damage, and Angel is a fast medic. These Specialists are inspired by previous Battlefield games' Classes.
