Nintendo had quite a bit of news to get off its chest at The Game Awards and started the night by revealing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's second DLC, The Champions' Ballad, would be available to play starting tonight. But that wasn't all, it also announced that the cult classic Bayonetta and its sequel Bayonetta 2 would be arriving on the Switch early next year.
Bayonetta originally made its debut on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 with the sequel making its way to the Wii U as a console exclusive. While it isn't the first time that both games will be available on a Nintendo console, the new release will give a whole new audience a chance to experience the games.
Bayonetta 2 will be released on February 16 and also come bundled with a full digital download of the original as well. If this news wasn't exciting enough, Nintendo also announced that Bayonetta 3 is in development and that it would be a Switch exclusive.
