Beats' Powerbeats Pro debuted in April of last year, marking the company's first true wireless earphones. The accessory was initially available in ivory, black, moss, and navy color options.
Today, Beats disclosed new color variants of the earphones: yellow, pink, red, and blue. The new colors introduce a notably brighter hue to the Powerbeats Pro. That said, the charging case remains black. The announcement came through an Instagram video as part of a collaboration between Beats and FaZe Clan, a gaming group.
Despite the refreshed colors, the earphones retain their existing specs and design. That means you'll still get up to nine hours of listening time on a single charge and more than 24 hours of total playback time, courtesy of its charging case. The Powerbeats Pro also keeps its over-the-ear hook design that's reminiscent of its predecessor launched in late 2016.
The earphones feature a linear piston driver that uses pressurized airflow for improved sound quality. The device is powered by Apple's H1 chip for easy pairing with iOS devices. Beats will release the new Powerbeats Pro for sale on June 9 for $249.95 via Apple's website and physical stores (via The Verge).
