The LG G6 is set to make its official debut on T-Mobile at the end of the week. But, it appears that the carrier has been fairly quick about getting pre-orders out, as some customers have received their units well ahead of the official release date of April 7. Now, the G6 is apparently receiving an over-the-air (OTA) update that brings the software up to version H87210e.
Unfortunately, there isn't much more information beyond that, as there is no detailed changelog accompanying the download. Since the update comes in at a fairly hefty 124.1MB, The Android Soul is speculating that there must be either some fixes or improvements involved. If you receive this update, although it should not delete your information, make sure to backup anything that you wouldn't want to lose.
If you currently have a G6 in your possession and have yet to see this update, be sure to exercise some patience, as it is an OTA, which means that it will likely roll out gradually to devices over the next couple of weeks.
