Bethesda adds new maps, the Tribolt, and Wolfenstein's BJ Blazkowicz to Quake Champions

Last year, Bethesda announced that Quake Champions would be making its way to PCs. While the game is yet to arrive in its official form, at its E3 event tonight, the firm announced that the title would be getting new maps, a new weapon, and also a new character addition to the Champion roster.

Being dubbed the "E3 2017 update", those that are in the closed beta will now have access to three new maps: Lockbox, Blood Run, and Corrupted Keep. Along with the new maps, there is also a new weapon, the Tribolt and the addition of BJ Blazkowicz from Wolfenstein fame. BJ Blazkowicz will join the other Champions and will possess the skill of being able to dual wield any of the weapons in game.

The Quake Champions closed beta will be available to play around the clock except for the brief periods when it will be down for maintenance. If you are interested in playing, you will want to sign up so you can receive your beta key.
