It's been several months since we have heard much about BioShock Infinite, the sequel to Irrational Games' 2007 first person shooter classic BioShock. Today, Irrational and publisher 2K Games broke their silence by revealing plans to launch two collectors editions of the game.
The $79.99 Premium Edition of BioShock Infinite will include items such as a 64 page art book and a Handyman figure that's designed to be used in the upcoming BioShock Infinite board game. It also has a lithograph designed to look like one on of the ads found on board the floating city of Columbia along with a Murder of Crows keychain.
There are also some exclusive digital extras as well, including the game's official soundtrack, and three in-game power-ups (Bull Rush, Extra!Extra! and Betrayer). PC and PS3 versions will get exclusive themes and the Xbox 360 version will have two exclusive in-game character costumes.
If you want to go all out, there's the Ultimate Songbird Edition of BioShock Infinite. For $149.99, it has all of the extras in the Premium Edition, plus a great looking 9.75 inch tall statue of one of the game's characters, the Summoner.
BioShock Infinite is currently scheduled to be released on February 26, 2013. A new game trailer will be released on Sunday.
