Black Friday 2011 is less than three days away but we imagine some of you might already be camped out at your local retail store waiting to save a few extra dollars for that special holiday gift (or maybe just something for yourself). We have gone over some of the sales for games and consoles planned for Friday along with PC hardware and software. Today we look at some deals that will be available for PC desktops and laptops. Some of these price cuts will happen at Black Friday but some are actually available right now.
Keep in mind that a lot of these rigs are not what most people would call hardcore PC gaming machines. However, there are some excellent deals to be found if you are willing to compromise a little bit in terms of the hardware inside. Once again a lot of this information comes from BFAds.net, the best place to find nearly all the Black Friday 2011 sale offers.
Best Buy - You can expect a lot of desktop and laptop prices to fall on Black Friday at this retailer. Here are just a few examples: Best Buy will sell a Lenovo 15.6 inch Laptop with an AMD E-300 CPU, 2 GB of RAM, and a 250 GB hard drive for just $179.99 on Black Friday. That's compared to its current price of $999.99 on the Best Buy web site. The retailer is also selling a HP All-in-One Computer with a 20 inch LED Display, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM for memory, and a 1 TB Hard Drive for $399.99 on Black Friday. Finally, Black Friday brings us an Gateway Netbook with and Intel Atom Processor, a 10.1 inch screen, 1 GB of memory and a 250 GB hard drive for a tiny $149.99 on Black Friday.
Office Depot - The office retailer has, among other Black Friday sales, one for an Acer desktop with an AMD dual core E-450 processor with 4 GB of RAM, and a 500 GB hard drive for just $239.99 for Friday.
Staples - It's yet another office-style retailer with some Black Friday prices to show off. One of them is for an HP Pavillion p6-2011 desktop with an Intel Pentium G620 processor, 6 GB of RAM and a roomy 1 TB hard drive for just $299.99.
Walmart - The nation's latest retail store chain has a nice desktop deal for Black Friday. It's for an HP Pavilion p2-1033wb with an AMD E-300 processor, 3 GB of DDR3 memory, a 500 GB hard drive and an 18.5 inch LED monitor for just $298.
TigerDirect.com - The retail web site has some pre-Black Friday deals ready to go right now. One of them is a Lenovo ThinkPad T410s 2904-HCU Laptop with a Intel Core i5-560M 2.66GHz processor with a 14.1 inch screen, 4 GB of DDR3 memory, and a 128 GB SSD for just $699.99. That's compared to its normal $1,899 price tag.
Black Friday 2011 is also the only time of the year when Apple's retail stores actually cut the prices down for some of their products like the MacBook laptops and Mac desktops. The price cuts themselves tend not to be too spectacular but this is basically the only window of opportunity to save a little cash from Apple directly. Apple doesn't announced the prices until Black Friday begins.
Again these are just some of the more interesting and lower priced PC desktop and laptop Black Friday deals we found and there may be others that will be revealed at the last minute.
Tomorrow we will conclude our Black Friday 2011 feature with a look at smartphone and tablet deals that can be found on November 25.
