Blueyonder extends 2Mb trials

Thanks mule...YESTERDAY TELEWEST Broadband announced to all 1500 cable modem users on the 2Mb Blueyonder trial, via email, that the time period will now be extended by two weeks, into mid May. Initial the trail was due to only last one month from Thursday 27th of March, until the same period in April.

This extended period is to allow more time to gather and analyse how the trail is going, and to collate more feedback from the trail data and more importantly – the users. If the whole process follows a similar route to the 1Mb trails of early 2002, it may be extended once again. The 1Mb trails were extended twice, and then into production, enabling users no loss of service.
