With just a few hours left until the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Direct kicks off, eager gamers may be wondering what the company has in store for them in terms of major news about the title. We already know that it is going to be an absolutely jam-packed roster, featuring every fighter to have ever graced the Smash Bros. battlefield since the first installment, but that may not necessarily rule out the inclusion of even more characters before the game hits the market in December.
It now seems that Nintendo may have let slip the addition of a character from the Castlevania series after a bungle saw the name of the Galaga Medley soundtrack video on the Super Smash Bros. YouTube channel renamed to "Bloody Tears / Monster Dance". While the title of the video has since been changed back, it might seem to be a rather huge coincidence to mention two tracks from Castlevania II: Simon's Quest on the NES by complete mistake without the intent to include a character from that series.
In terms of who the latest character to join the Super Smash Bros. roster could end up being, Simon Belmont might be the obvious choice but, as always, we'll have to sit tight until Nintendo makes an official announcement before we know for sure.
