At its E3 2017 press briefing, Ubisoft has given gamers a new look at its upcoming South Park game. South Park: The Fractured But Whole was revealed more than a year ago, but was repeatedly delayed. Now, Ubisoft has confirmed the October 17 launch date for the title, along with giving gamers their latest look at the upcoming game.
In South Park: The Fractured But Whole, players will once again be taking command of the New Kid, this time in a superhero-themed storyline. Numerous characters from the TV show will be making an appearance in the title including Cartman, Kenny, Stan, Kyle, and Token, among others.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole appears to promise the same edgy humor and sarcasm that the series is quite well-known and infamous for. That much is apparent from the name of the game alone. You can check out the trailer for the title below, but please keep in mind that it is only intended for mature audiences:
A short description for the game reads as follows:
The Coon and Friends and Freedom Pals face off in an epic superhero franchise battle.
As the New Kid with a super-powered butt, will you have what it takes to unite your allies and save South Park?
Join Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny in the South Park video game and bring peace to South Park!
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be making its way to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the PC on October 17, 2017.
