Cloud "instant on" OS coming to netbooks

Cloud, made and distributed by Good OS, will be coming to a touch screen Gigabyte net book. The OS will consist of a web browser as its main interface and will integrate with Skype, YouTube, and the Google family of apps. The OS will ship along side a pre-loaded Windows installation, which will will allow the netbook to dual boot either OS. The foundation for the Cloud OS is of course Linux and offers a quick and functional way to the internet and other user essential apps.

If you would like to try out the Cloud OS you will be able to install it on your own computer in the near future. There is no official boot time for the app but the CEO, David Liu, reports that "just seconds after I power on, I'm Googling, Yahooing, and truly living". It's always good to see the instant on OS make one more step towards general computing needs. Maybe one day we will be able to tell our kids that boot times of over 60 seconds were a common thing.
