CLRMamePro is one of the most useful utilities available to the emulation scene. Nearly all emulators use rom files to store their games. What CLRMame Pro does is to check all of the individual rom files against a data file to make sure that they have the right information in them. Data files are available for nearly all arcade emulators and also some console games too. This program will rename, fix, merge and organize your ROM collection. It uses Dat files so you can download Dat's for any Console, Computer, or Arcade ROM set. We highly recommend ClrMamePro if you have a large collection ROM's. CLRMamePro needs filesetdata to work correctly. Normally such data is stored in form of a datfile or if you got a binary which creates a setlist automatically, you can use that one, too. If you want to use clrmamepro with other systems you can write a DatFile for that system, or - if a system has an option to create a filelist- modify the engine.cfg. DatFiles for a lot of systems like emulators can be already found on the author website.
