Codename: Dashboard 2.0 BETA 3

Thanks Tropical Dream and panickedthumb for this. After 6 months of development, Codename: Dashboard 2.0 has now entered the public beta stage. This release features drastically improved stability, a better component selection, and a complete Component Development Kit with full documentation.

Codename: Dashboard 2.0 Beta 3 is now available for public download. This release included initial dual montior support, improved error handling for both components and the application, smoother component animation, and the ability to overwrite already-installed components.

This release requires the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 (version 1.0 is no longer supported), and a pentium-class computer running Microsoft Windows 98SE, 2000 or XP.

Changes in this release include:

  • Initial dual monitor support added

  • Improved component & application error handling

  • Overwriting installed components implemented

  • Smoother component animations

  • DUL changes for Dashboard components

  • Added auto-hide
