Thanks DigitalResource (posted in our forums) for the heads up on this... Looks like one of the coolest utils for your Windows PC has been slightly updated... (especially like the "Flashing scroll-key light to indicate download progress"... Ed.)
CoolMon displays system information in a small configurable window. Most of the application's data is retrieved from the Windows performance counters; the values that it can currently display are Processor usage, Number of Processes, Number of Threads, Used/Free/Total page file, Used/Free/Total RAM, Free/Total Disk space, Computer Uptime, Date & Time, Computer name, User name, All IP addresses, Network read and write speed and Motherboard Monitor temperatures and fan speeds.
Updates to this release (information from FileForum) :-
- New MBMStarter.DLL to work with Motherboard Monitor 5.1
- Dragging handle for when program is transparent
- Text formatting (Color, Bold, Italic, Underline, Shadow)
- Data accessible through WebServices (SOAP, WSDL, and many more buzzwords)
- Flashing scroll-key light to indicate download progress
- Multiple process exclusion
- Summary available for network stats
- Breakdown of stats by NIC and Processor (if MultiProc)
- -L command line option locks form in place at startup
