The Coolpad brand isn't the most recognizable name in smartphones inside the United States, but when it comes to offering affordable handsets, the firm tends to do just that, and its models can be found on a number of wireless carriers in the U.S. Today, Boost Mobile announced that it will begin to offer the Coolpad Legacy, priced at an introductory promotional price of $99.99.
The handset offers a large 6.36-inch 1080p display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 450 processor. It has 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded using microSD cards. There is a dual camera setup on its rear, making use of a 16MP and 5MP sensor, and a 13MP front-facing camera. As far as its battery, it has a 3,980mAh unit that can be charged through USB Type-C. The usual radios like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are standard, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Despite it being a more affordable unit, the smartphone will run Google's Android 9.0.
The Legacy is normally priced at $149.99, and is currently on sale for $129.99. But for a limited time, the wireless carrier is knocking an extra $20 off the current price, taking it down to $99.99. If interested, you can head to the product page for more details.
