The multiplayer shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was officially released a couple of days ago by developers Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment. Already there are tens of thousands of gamers playing the game online at any one time on Steam.
The game went through a long beta test period before launching this week and the official Counter-Strike website now has a highly detailed infographic that shows many of the stats that were generated by the beta testers.
The infographic shows that a total of 301, 988 players participated in the beta for Global Offensive and that they generated a total of 162,512,127 kills in the game. And which team, terrorists or counter-terrorists, were more successful during the beta? The infographic shows that 45.1 percent of the rounds saw the counter-terrorists side being killed, compared to 39.4 percent for the terrorists. 8.7 percent of the rounds ended up with the bombs in the maps being defused with the other 3.7 percent seeing the bombs detonated.
By the way, did you know that we have 10 Steam codes to give away for the final version of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive? You still have a few more hours to enter if you haven't done so already.
