Popular hand-drawn platforming title Cuphead has been spotted on the PlayStation Store by many people situated in different regions. The listing hints that we might be seeing a PlayStation 4 release for the game sometime soon. Although the game has appeared on the PS Store, users are unable to click on it to find out further details.

Studio MDHR's bright and quirky 2D game made its debut in late 2017 and was limited to the Xbox One and PC platforms. Cuphead was quite popular, selling one million copies in its first two weeks after launch. To commemorate the success of the platforming title, Microsoft created a custom Cuphead-themed Xbox One S which was given away in a sweepstake.
Following the game's rise in popularity, Cuphead has made its way to the Nintendo Switch and even Tesla cars. Now it seems that we will be seeing a PS4 launch, despite an earlier statement from the game's developer saying that a PlayStation 4 port would not happen and Cuphead would maintain its Xbox One and PC exclusivity.
For now, it seems that nothing will be confirmed until an official announcement from Studio MDHR is made. In the meantime, those who are interested in learning more about the game can check out our review.
Update: In a surprise move, Studio MDHR has announced that Cuphead is coming to the PlayStation 4 today. The title can be found and purchased from the PlayStation Store for $19.99.
