CD Projekt RED's Cyberpunk 2077 is easily one the most anticipated upcoming games of the year, and Microsoft is capitalizing on that with a brand new Xbox One X and Xbox Wireless Controller that's designed after the title.
Following what seemed to be a code puzzle on the official Xbox Twitter account, an unlisted trailer for the Xbox One X Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition Bundle was uncovered by fans today, seen above. A couple of Amazon listings managed to spoil the surprise a few days ago, but it's good to have confirmation of the new hardware that's arriving from an official source.
That listing revealed that the design is inspired by the game's Johnny Silverhand character, the one played by Keanu Reeves. The Xbox One X console features custom "Super Capacitor" panels on the front, glow in the dark writing on the back, plus laser etchings and additional LEDs. A closer look at the controller is seen below.
According to the trailer, the Xbox One X Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition will be releasing sometime in June this year. Due to the delay, Cyberpunk 2077 missed its original April release date and is now launching on September 17 on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Moreover, anyone who purchases the Xbox One edition of the RPG will get a free upgrade to the Xbox Series X version when it releases.
