Legendary video game maker Hideo Kojima has revealed a collaboration for his post-apocalyptic title Death Stranding with CD Projekt Red's recently launched futuristic RPG title Cyberpunk 2077. As part of the joint effort, a new patch for the PC version of Kojima Studio's stealth action video game has been released. It features Cyberpunk 2077-themed items for the game's lead character, Sam.
The Death Stranding x Cyberpunk 2077 collab is already out now and for the time being it isn't available on the PlayStation 4 variant of the game. Those who are interested to get the added content can proceed to Steam or the Epic Games Store where they can download the latest PC update for free.

Beside the Cyberpunk 2077 collab items, today's update will also add a new hacking ability to the post-apocalyptic video game. This will enable players to hack into in-game interactable objects such as sensor poles, cause short circuits as an offensive tactic against enemies, and more.
Additionally, Kojima's sci-fi title is also on sale at the moment. Both aforementioned game stores are selling Death Stranding at half the price for the PC platform. After the 50% discount, the price has been reduced to $29.99 on both stores.
