Kojima Productions Death Stranding is releasing today on PlayStation 4, and while a surprise announcement revealed an upcoming PC version recently, it is quite far away, planned to launch in the summer of 2020. Before that however, today, the Hideo Kojima game received pre-order pages for its PC version, coming online on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Before the masses get riled up, know that there aren't any timed exclusivity deals. 505 Games - the publisher of the PC version - confirmed today that Death Stranding is releasing simultaneously on both platforms sometime next summer as previously announced.
The rather barren Steam store page reveals that there will be achievements and "Partial Controller Support." There aren't any system requirements attached to the game yet either, with the store pages only confirming a Windows version.
The game features some big names in its cast, including Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, and Guillermo del Toro. Here's how the mysterious game's setting is described:
Sam Bridges must brave a world utterly transformed by the Death Stranding. Carrying the disconnected remnants of our future in his hands, he embarks on a journey to reconnect the shattered world one step at a time.
Just as the PlayStation 4 edition, Death Stranding on PC comes in at $59.99/£54.99/€59.99, and pre-orders are available now on the aforementioned Steam and Epic Games Store pages.
