Alongside of some new Windows 10 PCs like a new XPS 13 2-in-1 and a range of new Inspiron convertibles, Dell also announced the Inspiron Chromebook 14 2-in-1. The portable PC is a convertible with a 14-inch FHD display that runs Chrome OS and has Android app support.
It comes with an Intel Core i3-8130U processor, 4GB RAM, and 128GB of onboard storage. It also has two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C ports and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A port.
But what's fun about this device is that it comes with a built-in pen. Combined with the Android app support, this device has the potential to be a true all-in-one, as a proper tablet and a proper laptop.
The Inspiron Chromebook 14 2-in-1 has the benefit of being in a form factor that hasn't been thoroughly explored by OEMs yet. While Chrome OS convertibles are starting to become popular with Android app support and the ability to use them properly as a tablet, larger screens are something that are still pretty rare.
The convertible PC will be available in North America on October 23, starting at $599.99.
