Last month, Dell introduced a new model of its XPS 15 laptop, packing some serious upgrades. Today, the refreshed PC is available for purchase.
The new XPS 15 includes Intel's ninth-generation CPUs, going right up to a Core i9-9980HK. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti that we had on the previous generation has been bumped up to a GTX 1650, so there's a considerable improvement there.
But perhaps most notable is that the display is available with a 4K OLED option. In fact, the full range of screens includes FHD, 4K, and 4K OLED, with the non-OLED 4K option being the most expensive one.
The XPS 15 starts at $1,099.99, and that will get you a Core i5-9300H, 8GB DDR4-2666MHz RAM, a 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD, an FHD display, and integrated graphics. Specced out, it will run you $3,099.99 for a Core i9-9980HK, 32GB RAM, a 2TB SSD, the 4K non-OLED (OLED is $50 cheaper), and GTX 1650 graphics.
If you want to check it out on Dell.com, you can find it here. Dell is also still selling the last-generation model, which has eighth-generation CPUs and GTX 1050 Ti graphics.
