The Lumia 900 has gotten a ton of press over the past week, and most of it has been good so far. Meanwhile, AT&T claims that the first week of sales for Nokia's Windows Phone device has actually exceeded their expectations. Now it looks like one of the most well known people in the tech industry is at least going to try out the device.
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak posted up word on his Twitter page today that he was "awaiting opening of AT&T to see if Lumia 900 available." The message was posted at a nearby Denny's in Gilroy, California.
"The Woz" is well known for waiting in line just like everyone else to get his hands on the latest Apple products like the new iPhone or iPad, even though Apple would likely send him a free unit if he asked. However, he has never been one to play favorites and the fact that he's at least interested in getting the Lumia 900 shows that the smartphone has his attention.
As of this news post, it's unknown if Wozniak has actually purchased the Lumia 900 by now. Hopefully he has and will give his initial impressions of the smartphone.
