Microsoft DirectX 9.0 End-User Downloads (Beta 2)

Use the DirectX 9.0 Beta 2 web-based setup to install the end-user runtime only. This setup will install on all supported Operating Systems and minimizes the download size to only the DirectX components your system requires.

Microsoft DirectX 9.0 (Beta 2) Software Development Kit

This is the full DirectX 9.0 SDK download. It contains the updated components listed above. It does not contain some of the DirectX 9.0 SDK CD content, such as Symbol Files, D3D XFile Exporters, and DirectShow DVD components. All of these can be found on in the DirectX 9.0 SDK Extras download.
