It was only a month ago when Square Enix revealed gameplay footage in a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III. The game has been in development for quite some time and it will be the twelfth installment in the series that started in 2012. Today, at Disney's D23 Expo, it was confirmed that the game would arrive sometime in 2018.
Along with a release window, the new trailer provides information about the characters and some of the environments. While you will still be adventuring with Sora, the main protagonist from past installments, it looks like this go around players will get to experience the amazing world of Toy Story, partnering with the likes of Buzz Lightyear and Woody to vanquish evil.
Although getting a sneak preview of some of the new characters is exciting, it is certainly a treat to get to see them in action, with the title showing off some impressive visuals. As mentioned previously, Square Enix did not announce a firm date, but Kingdom Hearts III will arrive on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 sometime in 2018.
