Dragon Ball FighterZ, the much-anticipated fighting game by Arc System Works, is launching later this month, and the game's long-promised beta period will finally begin next week. Today, Bandai Namco announced the console exclusive beta's start and end times as well as the content included in it.
Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players who pre-ordered the game will gain beta access on January 13 at 12am PT. The beta will then open to all players a day later on January 14 at 12am PT, with it coming to a close for everyone on January 16 at 12am PT. Preloading will be available for both platforms on January 12.
As for what it is offering, the beta will give players access to 11 fan-favorite fighters from the Dragon Ball franchise:
• Goku
• Vegeta
• Gohan
• Frieza
• Kid Buu
• Cell
• Piccolo
• Krillin
• Nappa
• Android 18
• Beerus
Also included are several fighting stages, them being Planet Namek, World Tournament Arena, West City, Volcano, Wasteland, Cell Games Arena, and Rocky Field.
Beta participants will be able to make use of the World Match mode to jump into fights, while a Battle Tutorial practice mode is also available to test out each character's skills without being in harm's way. Rankings, replays, avatar customizations, stamps, and "2 Dramatic Scenes" are included as well.
Although PC players will be missing out on the beta, the game is, in fact, heading to the platform, with its recently announced system requirements being as follows:

Dragon Ball FighterZ is slated to launch on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on January 26.
