A couple months ago, it was revealed that DxO would be releasing an Android version of its One camera attachment. Now, the firm has made the Early Access pack available for order, which not only comes with the camera but also a few extras.
If unfamiliar with the DxO One, it first made its debut years ago as a camera attachment for iOS devices. Not only does it beef up the quality of images and movies taken with its own sensor, but it also has its own software. While the iOS variant featured a Lightning connector, the new model for Android will be USB Type-C.
As mentioned before, the DxO One for Android is available to be ordered and will come with the camera itself, along with waterproof case capable of reaching depths of up to 45 meters, and a license for DxO PhotoLab, the company's own image editing software. The Early Access pack will set you back $499 with shipping thrown in for free.
Those that are interested will want to head to the source link below and sign up for the email to get the purchase link. While it is USB Type-C, it looks like DxO has a number of listed handsets that are supported across a number of manufacturers that include HTC, Huawei, LG, Nokia, and Samsung, to name a few. Otherwise, you can try it out with an unlisted handset but you may expect the product to not be fully optimized.
