Just how does one trigger the release of these messages, one might wonder, being that one is dead? They are sent after the company receives notice that a subscriber's Social Security number has been released by the U.S. Government, which could take up to a month or more, a list the company presumably scans regularly.
There is no comment at the site on the consequence that a surprise e-mail from the dead could, in fact, bring the newly deceased some company.
The site does day that in addition to e-mail messages you may also upload a favorite picture to be attached to your messages, and with the Premium Service you can upload a digital video that can be viewed by some or all of your loved ones.
