E3 2013 is history, and the exhibits in the LA Convention Center are already being disassembled and taken out of the building. It's always fascinating to see just what the big game publishers bring to E3, and some clearly try to show off what they can create.
Activision has perhaps the most impressive exhibit with a huge circular projection screen that showed off trailers for its upcoming games in a way that would never be seen on your big screen TV. Activision even has huge TV monitors connected to moving robotic arms on either side of the projection screen.
The folks at SpaceX, for whatever reason, had a presence at E3 2013, where they brought one of their actual Dragon reusable spacecraft to show off to people outside the LA Convention Center. We love space exploration, but we still are a little confused why SpaceX wanted to promote themselves as part of a video game trade show. We are glad they showed up, however. It's pretty rare to see an actual spaceship that's not in a museum.
