EE has overhauled its range of SIM-only plans, with more affordable options available, and more data included as part of its tariffs. From today, getting a SIM-only service with the UK's largest 4G network will start from just £9.99, which includes 250 minutes, 250MB of data and unlimited texts.
The carrier is also increasing the amount of data available on SIM-only plans - previously, the maximum inclusive data available with any tariff was 4GB, which would have cost as much as £25.99 a month. Now, though, you can have 5GB for even less money, with the top package maxing out at £30.99 a month with 10GB of data, unlimited minutes and texts, or even less if you sign up for a 12-month contract.
In fact, there are two separate tiers to EE's SIM-only offering. There's a 30-day rolling contract option if you're not too keen on being tied down...
or, alternatively, if you're willing to commit to a full year, you can save £3 per month on your SIM-only plan:
However, for those that eat through data at a ferocious rate - which can be particularly easy to do with 4G speeds - the new offerings still don't come close to the 24-month contracts available for those who also buy a handset from EE, who can get up to 50GB of data each month.
