Electronic distribution experts safeguard full game content with DRM technology.
Eidos has teamed up with Softwrap to distribute Singles: Flirt Up Your Life online, having recently secured the rights to worldwide e-distribution under an agreement with the game's publisher Deep Silver. The game has been made available over the internet in time-limited demo form, allowing players to tackle it for up to an hour before being asked to pay £16.99 to continue, with Softwrap's DRM technology used to safeguard the rest of the software and allow for distribution via peer-to-peer networks and magazine covermounts.
"We have worked with Softwrap for a number of years now because we want to be sure that we're doing all we can to protect our content from the threat of online piracy," Eidos' Simon Protheroe commented. "Softwrap's DRM technology has always proved to be an effective solution in the past, which is why we had no hesitation in using it when distributing our latest title, Singles: Flirt Up Your Life."
