Electricity grid in the US infiltrated by spies

If you love your gadgets and most of us do then this is a scary development for every owner of a device that requires a power source.

According to the Wall Street Journal the Electicity Grid in the United States has been penetrated by Chinese and Russian spies. The spies left behind software programs that could be used to disrupt the system, according to current and former national-security officials.

"The Chinese have attempted to map our infrastructure, such as the electrical grid," said a senior intelligence official. "So have the Russians."

Both the Russian and Chinese governments have denied any wrongdoing but US investigators have followed electronic trails of stolen data to China and Russia. If the infiltrators decide to use their tools who knows what damage they could create.
