It was back in April when Elon Musk gave the world its first sneak peek at the company's upcoming semi truck. Last month, Musk revealed that the firm would be holding an event at its Hawthorne, California headquarters to unveil the Semi on October 26. Now it appears that those plans have been delayed, being pushed back to November.
According to Musk via his Twitter account, the unveiling of the Tesla Semi will be postponed until November 16. This is partly due to the fact that it wants to focus fixing the improving the production of its Model 3. The latest addition to its lineup is one of the more affordable models from the firm, but there have been issues getting the vehicles into the hands of its owners, with only 260 Model 3s rolling off the line as of September 30. Another factor in the decision to delay the Semi is that the firm wants to increase battery production in Puerto Rico and other areas.
While not much is known about the Tesla Semi, there is a chance that it was spotted in the wild, giving us a glimpse of what to expect come November.
