Surprising nobody at this stage, Sega and Visual Concepts today announced that ESPN NBA 2K5 for PlayStation 2 and Xbox will hit the market priced at $19.99. The latest ESPN-licensed basketball sim thus follows the lead of its hockey and football fellows, also released at a low price point as part of Sega's new distribution and marketing arrangement with Take-Two Interactive.
This year's ESPN NBA sim brings back the 24/7 mode from last year's game and improves on its "IsoMotion" control system, while adding more ESPN presentation elements and an improved franchise mode dubbed "The Association." Added weekly training and team chemistry elements echo similar additions to this year's ESPN NFL 2K5.
