Exchange Server 2003 Hits RC1

Thanks to Jayse for the heads up on this

Last wednesday Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 hit RC1 stage and was released to the special JDP (Joint Development Program) customers. We got hold of RC1 and decided to test it to its limits and show you some of its developments since its public Beta 2 stage. Outlook web access has changed slightly and is now much more like its counterpart (Outlook 2003). Exchange in general at its RC1 state is much more efficient and more stable than when it was at Beta 2. Installation is much easier than previous exchange versions on Windows Server 2003.

In my opinion the best part of Exchange 2003 is the fact is natively supports outlook web access with support for mobile and wireless devices. As to the core of exchange, at heart much hasn't changed since Beta 2 apart from a few improvements and better intergration into active directory itself and Windows Server 2003. We thought we would take a few screenshots for all those beta freaks and people who are interested in Exchange Server 2003 and its great Outlook web access.

Check out our exclusive screenshots below.

Note: We apologise but the screenshots of Exchange Server 2003 RC1 have been removed due to a request from Microsoft.
