Windows Messenger 5 is part of the Greenwich beta released by Microsoft about a week ago. The screenshots show new options such as the ability to connect to Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) services, for Windows Messenger to recieve ink, blocking MSN alerts and setting messenger's status to "busy" when full-screen programs are executed. We are not sure if and when this beta product will be released by Microsoft.
