Microsoft are gearing up for the biggest release in history of their Instant Messaging client, MSN Messenger 6. An early edition of MSN Messenger 6 is currently circulating around the internet and nearly all are impressed with what Microsoft have done with MSN Messenger.
Between now and July Microsoft are going to be showing us (the public) little teasers and previews of this upcoming Instant Messaging client. Today Microsoft have informed us they've made a funny but excellent site, named ilovemessenger.com. The site is not complete yet but the MSN team are currently working on it all day and night. Some time next week we're likely to see some kind of "sign-up" information to be informed just when the official public preview will start and when MSN Messenger 6 will launch.
The actual site itself is designed in much the same way as the client. However, our guess is as good as yours at the moment as Microsoft were very hush hush about the content of the site, "it is still a surprise for the moment, actually we hope to be able to deliver everything we wanted so we prefer to stay silent and not disappoint" said BuddyGirl, ilovemessenger.com's soon to be hostess.
We're placing bets on it being a giant Messenger community, a customization site or both. Either way it looks like Microsoft are really pouring all their work into this client and I think we're gonna have an interesting couple of months to come.
So head on over to the site for now where you'll find an interesting and funny suprise in store for you.
