If you've been wanting to experience Microsoft's HoloLens - it might be time to take a trip to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, where they have debuted a new Mars exhibit that will take advantage of Microsoft's augmented reality (AR) headset.
The Kennedy Space Center has officially opened its "Destination: Mars" exhibit to the public. It will allow those curious to experience several sites on Mars, through Microsoft's HoloLens. The imagery in the exhibit will be from NASA’s Curiosity Mars Rover, with narration provided by famed Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
The "Destination: Mars" exhibit will be part of the paid admission to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Unfortunately, you will not be able to make advance reservations for the exhibit and will instead have to make a reservation when you arrive at the Visitor Center. The exhibit will be open until the January 1st, 2017.
