Digital storefront Fanatical - previously Bundle Stars -, has unveiled its latest offer, the Max Damage Bundle, which packages eight games and puts a 96% discount on the entire thing.
For those not familiar, this pack's name comes from Carmageddon: Max Damage, which is the latest in the series of vehicular combat games that inspired titles like Flatout. The 1997 series opener was developed by Stainless Games and published by SCi and Interplay. After a number of sequels, the rights were re-acquired in 2011 by the same developer, and the game series was rebooted with Carmageddon: Reincarnation. Last year brought the release of its sequel, Max Damage.
Now, the title above as well as sci-fi RPG System Shock, WWII RTS Sudden Strike Gold, side-scroller Final Exam, puzzle platformer Monochroma, physics-based racer Guts and Glory, 8-bit RPG/tycoon hybrid Punch Club, and stealth 2D game Serial Cleaner can be had for $3.49 until November 28.
As another note for those who want to pick this up, the Steam keys included for Carmageddon: Max Damage, System Shock: Enhanced Edition, Sudden Strike Gold, and Final Exam are for the Windows version only, while those for Punch Club, Serial Cleaner, Guts and Glory, and Monochroma work on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
